China has a couple of big ones, like The9, for example. Apparently they license their own version of World of Warcraft, because heaven forbid anyone get a taste of the evil non-socialist influence. The developer of the popular MMORPG entitled Eve Online, CCP, is Icelandic. Rareware, developer of Donkey Kong Country, Kameo: Elements of Power, Goldeneye, and others, is located in the UK, although they have been acquired by Microsoft.
